Wish List :: White Sneakers

One item that's been missing from my closet is a pair of casual white sneakers.  This is probably because I know I won't get a ton of use from them seeing as it's more casual than I tend to dress.  I have been seeing them paired a lot of different ways including with a dress or with a pair of jeans rolled up to the ankle.  All of this said, I now am finding myself with the temptation to buy some.  I think if I take the plunge I'd get some classic Converse Chuck Taylors.

Recent Purchases

It's no secret among my friends and family that I hoard any gift cards that I receive, but it pays to wait for a good deal.  Today I decided to put a gift card that I've had for over two years and some DSW rewards points to good use.  I snagged these awesome leopard flats and these gorgeous cognac Ralph Lauren heels on super clearance.  Also, a couple weeks ago I bought these Nine West leopard heels with another gift card that I had.  Can you tell that leopard and cognac are two of my favorite things?

Help Wanted

At the end of last summer, I scored two pairs of Steve Madden sandals for a great price.  Since I've started to wear the gold pair this summer, I noticed a design flaw nuance about them which causes the straps to fall down when you walk.  Has anyone else had this problem? Anyone have an idea on how to fix it?

Outfit Crush

Taylor has a way of making most any outfit seem effortless.  When I first saw this outfit on her blog the other day I immediately fell in love.  It makes me want to run out and buy leopard shoes, a white lace top, and turquoise bag!  I might be wearing a variation of this outfit for the upcoming lace EBEW!

Outfit Crush

It's safe to say that I've become obsessed with skirts in either pink, orange, or red tones.  I love this look on Taylor, and the pop of additional color with her adorable turquoise heels!  Turquoise heels are definitely going to be added to my spring/summer wish list after seeing this outfit.

Black & Chrome

Do you ever find yourself going into Target only looking for a couple things, like toilet paper or Tylenol, but then find yourself in the shoe or clothes section? Yeah, that's just about me every time I go into Target.  The last time I went it didn't even bother me that I was only there for allergy medicine, I still went to the shoe section.  At only $6.24, these heels were just too inexpensive to pass up.  Not only were they inexpensive, but they're also pretty comfortable which is definitely a win-win in my book!

Fields of Gold

 {Sweater: borrowed (from H&M), Jeans: Gap, Heels: Urban Outfitters}

Even though I'm sitting today's Everybody Everywear maxi dress challenge, I wanted to post an outfit picture. These are my new heels that I bought from Urban Outfitters a few weeks ago, and although the color is supposed to be red/orange, I would definitely say they're more orange than red.  I still like them though, and it turns out they're actually pretty comfortable.  The sweater that I'm wearing is borrowed from my pal Justine, and I may never give it back to her it's one of the most comfortable sweaters I've ever worn.  I felt like I was in PJs all day!

Nude Sandals

{via}

It seems as though I've been craving heels for summer.  I bought these heels from Urban Outfitters  a few weeks ago, and since then I've purchased these nude heels from Nine West with gift cards that I've been hoarding since the holidays.  Despite the heel height of these, they are really comfortable because of the platform.  These shoes will go well with so many items for spring and summer including the neutral and color block trends.

Orange You Glad

I know that today is St. Patrick's Day, but my new red/orange heels arrived today from Urban Outfitters, and I couldn't resist posting what they look like. Although they are more orange than I was anticipating, I am beyond excited to wear them once this rain non-sense stops!

I'll be away from my computer tomorrow, so happy weekend and Happy St. Patrick's Day!
