Wish List :: Christmas Presents

I have a few things on my Christmas wish list this year that I'm hoping to see under the tree in a few weeks. 

1) iPad :: I've been wanting an iPad for multiple reasons, and one being that I have a two hour commute everyday and would love to look at a screen larger than my iPhone. 

2) Love Actually :: Every year for the past few years I've heard of people watching Love Actually, and I can't believe that I've never seen it!

3) Weekend trip :: Although I only live a couple hours from Seattle it's been years, like 10+ that I've been in Seattle for longer than a day. I would love a weekend trip to Seattle or San Francisco.

4) Nail polish :: I just bought a bottle of Sally Hansen complete manicure on clearance at Target and now want it in every color.  It really is a complete manicure, and it dries super fast!

Wish List :: Hunter Rain Boots

Lately I've been trying to determine how much use I would get out of a pair of Hunter Boots.  With Christmas and my birthday not too far away I figured I might add them to my wish list.  I already reach for boots on a daily basis in the winter, but tend to wear leather ones.  With that said, I think by picking a more neutral rain boot I would get a lot of use of them here in the Northwest! This is how I think I would wear the boots.

Frye Melissa Button Boots

In case you needed an example of how hoarding gift cards can pay off, I got these beauties for less than $100 out of my pocket.  I've been wanting some Frye Melissa Button boots for well over a year and when I saw that I could get them at Macy's using gift cards and a coupon I had to jump on the deal.  I'm so happy to have such a classic looking boot added to my closet!

Tonight as I was browsing my Pinterest boards for outfit inspiration, I noticed a commonality in a few outfits :: green pants.  Although I already have a couple pairs of colored jeans, I've yet to get my hands, er legs on/in a pair of green pants.  I think that most colored jeans can work just as well in the fall and winter as other seasons so long as they're paired with season appropriate accessories.  Also, since Old Navy has their Rockstar jeans on sale right now, I think I might need to finally purchase some green skinnies.

I'm sure everyone will agree that it is so difficult to find the perfect pair of jeans.  I have two pairs of the Always Skinny jeans from Gap because I love them so much and although they're super long they are perfect to wear with boots.  When I got an email from Gap saying that its jeans are 25% off I couldn't help but browse the site.  These are a few of my favorites.

Wish List :: Swim Suits

Although I don't have any vacations planned this summer, it's always fun to think about getting a cute new swim suit.  Over the weekend I fell in love with a couple suits from American Eagle, but also wanted to venture out into the Internet world for a few others.  From the suits above, you probably have noticed my new favorite look for a top - less of the triangle look and more "shapely."

Wish List :: Skirts

Every year when it starts getting warmer, I immediately feel like I'm lacking in warm-weather clothes.  This year is no different, and I feel like most of my skirts are either more conservative like a pencil skirt, or better for the weekend.  My closet is definitely lacking in moderate length but fun skirts so I couldn't help but do a little online window shopping tonight.

Camera Bag Purse

Since I was lucky enough to receive a Canon digital camera for Christmas I've been looking for the perfect carrying case.  I wanted something that didn't "look" like a camera bag and more like a purse, but still have padding and sections inside.  It's been more difficult than I imagined finding some that were nice looking.  I found this bag, but my favorite is this Theit purse and how it looks somewhat like a Chanel purse.

This year I wasn't really sure what I wanted for Christmas which is probably a good thing.  But I managed to come up with a few things to ask for, and granted some of these items (like the camera) are unlikely to be gifted to me, a girl can dream right?  What's on your holiday wish list this year?

Not only was I excited to get the new iPhone, but I was excited to get a cute Kate Spade case on Amazon.  I got a great deal on it, but I also have a few that will be added to both my Christmas and birthday lists.  (I seem to have a black and white theme happening as well.)

Wish List: Corduroy Pants

I can't believe I'm about to admit the following, but in fifth and sixth grade I had a pair of wide leg, dark blue, thick wale corduroy pants.  Let me tell you, they were not pretty.  Despite that, I am again wanting a pair of corduroy pants, but this time I hopefully won't look back at them in disgust.  All of the above options are fairly inexpensive, and are putting a modern twist on corduroy pants.

My Pinterest "wishlist" board is growing by the day.  Perhaps that's because starting around this time of the year, I start thinking about what I want for Christmas and my birthday in a few months.  These are some things that I"m not necessarily expecting, but I am currently wanting.
