Remember when?

Remember when I went to Florence with some awesome pals? Well it was a fun and great weekend filled with a walk along the coast, salt water taffy, Oregon football, girl talk, and much more. I wanted to share some pictures from the weekend. Love these girls and can't wait to make it an annual weekend trip!

This weekend I'm going to Florence, OR along with eight of my pals.  We're staying at my friend Nicole's house and I couldn't be happier to get in some quality G-Time that will include cheering on the Ducks, making cards, hiking, beach yoga, and of course eating.  I hope you all have a safe and wonderful weekend!

Over the Weekend

This past weekend was the perfect amount of productivity with a heavy dose of fun sprinkled throughout.

Friday :: I went to a bridal show with my best pal Justine who is getting married next summer.
Saturday :: breakfast at Broder (my new favorite), apple tasting at the Portland Nursery, and then an impromptu road trip to my old stomping grounds, Eugene and UO.
Sunday :: Lunch at the new McMenamins in Wilsonville and some delicious pizza and ruby! (not pictured :: even more eating)

I had such a lovely weekend, although it came and went far too quickly (don't they always?).  I was able to squeeze in some fun along with also being productive around the house.  How was your weekend?

This weekend my boyfriend and I are celebrating our four year anniversary a couple weeks early by going on a mini-roadtrip.  Stops include Port Angeles, WA and Victoria BC.  I couldn't be more excited to get away for a couple days and explore two beautiful cities!

Long Weekend

I couldn't be more excited for a long weekend.  I don't have a lot planned, other than a sure to be fun girl's day on Saturday.  Hopefully some bbq'ing, beer, sunshine, and relaxation will also be on the agenda.  Happy un-official, official, start to the summer!

Weekend Happenings

Last weekend I wanted to do little more than enjoy the sunshine and the last couple of days before my boyfriend went out of town.  Friday night I got happy hour with two pals at Brix Tavern. It was my first time there, and I was pleasantly surprised by their happy hour (the fondue was delicious), and am already making plans to go back!

Did anyone see the beautiful moon Friday and Saturday night? I couldn't believe how pretty it was!  Saturday we had a date night at Cinetopia, and saw Hunger Games.  I was a little surprised about how much I enjoyed that movie, and now want to read the books! Sunday, I went on a nice walk to soak up some vitamin D and relaxed the rest of the day! It was such a relaxing weekend!

What's Been Going On

Over the past week, I've been trying to take some time to enjoy some of my favorite things and favorite things to do.  

I took my car through the car wash, and then it was dusted in pollen again by the next day.  It's a good thing I actually like washing my car, so the second time I washed it by hand!

This past weekend was very busy, but also really fun.  I had the opportunity to attend my first Portland Blogger's meet-up and meet a few local bloggers.  It was so nice to meet the people behind some blogs that I already follow, and add a few more blogs to my Google Reader. I highly encourage any local bloggers to attend the next meet-up and come socialize with other bloggers!  I also went to a friend's dinner party, played pool with my love, and went to Creative Connection PDX.  All in all a great weekend, that I wouldn't mind repeating again.

I feel a little bit like a broken record, but I had another wonderful weekend.  I had drinks with my best friend and her boyfriend Friday night, celebrated a pal's birthday on Saturday, and saw Ovo on Sunday with my love.

Have you ever been to a Cirque Du Soleil show? Ovo was my first one, and now I want to see all of them - they are amazing.  I was incredibly impressed with each characters acrobatic ability and feel really lucky to have been able to see it yesterday.  How was your weekend?

Another great weekend is in the books. 

Friday night I went to my BFF's house and she made some delicious, albeit spicy soup I'm also a wimp when it comes to spicy food, and we watched Garden State.

Saturday I started the day off getting my first gel manicure, and then I met up with two pals and their handsome son in Woodburn.  Later that night we went to another friend's house and they made us sturgeon (delicious) and salmon.  

Sunday was a full day spent with my love: we went to the driving range, played pool, and had happy hour at Bartini with a few friends.  

Such a wonderful weekend, and I was definitely not ready for Monday.  I can't wait to see what next weekend has in store for me (always working for the weekend, right?).

I had the perfect amount of fun and exploring last weekend.  My boyfriend and I joined four of our closest friends for our second annual trip to Black Butte.  We laughed, played games, ate, swam, and chatted late into the nights.  Seriously, the best.  I am already ready for another get together with some seriously amazing friends!

Over the Weekend

Do you ever have a weekend that you go into it with little expectations on how it will be and what will happen, but it ends up being one of the best weekends in awhile? That was me last weekend.  There was snow, being paid to grocery shop, a Broadway show, coffee, hanging out with friends and my love, and happy hour.  Here's to it being an equally great week!

This has been a great but tiring week.  I'm so happy that it's Friday, and the weekend consists of little plans other than planning an adventure weekend, cuddling, and eating [three of my favorite things].  Hope you all have a wonderful weekend, and don't forget to wear your green tomorrow!
