My chambray button-up is easily one of the most worn pieces in my closet, yet I still hear people calling it a "Canadian Tuxedo" when worn with other denim pieces.  I think that pairing it with denim is perfectly fine, so long as they're two different colors of denim, but there are also many other ways to wear this versatile item.  I took one simple chambray top from American Eagle and have created three different ways to wear it for a variety of occasions.

It's so nice when I actually have all of the elements to recreate one of the outfits that I'm crushing on.  I have had my leopard flats, black pants, and orange jacket in constant rotation the past month or so, but I haven't combined them all in one outfit yet.  I think I'll have to recreate this look very soon!

I wore this outfit recently for an impromptu date night.  I don't know about you, but I sometimes like unplanned dates better than planned ones.  I have a tendency to over anticipate and build up events in my head if they're planned in advance, and with an impromptu date night it forces me to go with the flow.  What's your favorite date that you've been on?
