Seeing Spots

 {Cardigan: Gap, Button-Up: Can't Remember, Jeans: Gap, Heels: Target}

I was so happy to have something for Everybody Everywear in my closet.  Have you heard of EBEW? It's a pretty great idea from Linda and Liz where something is picked that most people already have in their closet.  This time around it was polka dots.  At first I wasn't sure if I had anything with polka dots, and then I dug in the back of my closet and found this button-up black and white shirt.  I can't wait to look at everyone's outfits with polka dots!

Remix Round-Up

Here is a complete recap of my 30 outfits.  Do you have any favorites?  My favorites are numbers 4, 11, 18, 24, and 28.  My MVP for this challenge, just like the last one, are definitely my cognac boots.  Once again those bad boys pulled me through the last 30 days and kept my feet both warm and stylish.

I really like these challenges, and I hope that Kendi has a spring or summer edition.  They challenge me to wear different outfits that I wouldn't otherwise think about if I had full access to my closet, not to mention how much time they save me every morning.  I do have to say that I am happy to go shopping again for some lovely spring clothes that I've been seeing!

Fill in the Blank Friday

 {via}

Playing along with Lauren today, and tonight I'm going out of town for one of my best friend's birthdays.  I am so excited to spend the weekend with some really close friends and of course my boyfriend.

1.   The phrase or punctuation I overuse most is: exclamation marks.  I want to put them at the end of most sentences, I guess they just describe my feeling for something the best!

2.  Today I am thankful for: coffee.  I am already on my second cup and it is helping me get through a big project!

3.  My best friend is: my boyfriend and friend Justine.  They both know me the best, probably better than I know me and I think would do most anything for me.

4.  A quirky thing about me is: that I'm very neurotic about certain things.  For instance touching other people's silverware in the kitchen sink grosses me out!

5.  This weekend I: am going to Black Butte Ranch to celebrate my friend's 25th birthday! I haven't seen her or the other people going in a few months so I'm excited to relax and catch up!

6.  Something that worries me is: driving in the snow, but luckily my boyfriend is driving this weekend and he is much better at driving in the snow than me.

7.  On my night stand you would find: three dishes from Anthropologie with jewelry in them, a lamp, my cell phone and one or two cups for water.

Happy weekend!

Alle fertigen [All Finished]

 {Blazer: H&M, Shirt: Old Navy, Jeans: Forever 21, Boots: Steve Madden}

Another 30 for 30 challenge under my belt. Stay tuned for a wrap-up of my 30 different outfits.

I'm super excited because I just got home from volunteering at my very first fashion show.  Nordstrom had a designer preview runway fashion show, and all of the proceeds benefit the OHSU Center for Women's Health.  It was so much fun to see what is going to be in fashion for spring, and I felt very official since I was able to sit in the front row! Because I was volunteering though, I didn't have my camera with me, but hopefully I will be able to find some photos to share with you.

Happy Day 29!

 {Cardigan: H&M, Button-Up: The Limited, Jeans: Gap, Oxfords: Nine West}

I don't have much to say today, probably because all I can think about is my plans for this weekend.  After a stressful couple of weeks I am so excited to celebrate one of my best friend's birthdays!

Happy hump day and happy day 29!

Outfit Crush

This outfit has me craving spring.  Even though I have yet to find a "body conscious" skirt that I like on me, I have to say that I love the striped pattern on this skirt.  What I especially like about this outfit is the olive green button-up shirt which would work with so many different outfits.  She's rockin' it!

Two More to Go

 {Cardigan: Old Navy, Button-Up: Old Navy, Jeans: Gap, Boots: Steve Madden}

Can you believe that today is March 1st?  It's definitely still Winter in Oregon, and my apartment is far too drafty to wear a short sleeve shirt, let alone a skirt without tights, but I am very excited that spring is just around the corner!  I am starting to worry about what to wear when the challenge is over since I'll have full access to my closet again.  Have you started thinking about what you'll wear first after the challenge? For me it'll probably be my sweaters and different pairs of boots.  I want to wear my cozy sweaters one last time before spring and summer.
